Re-belief, a short film, produced by animator Ray McCarthy Bergeron, melds the ancient and modern worlds of art, film and technology together with zoetropes and 3D printing. Produced for his MFA theses, Bergeron uses the art medium of zoetropes and 3D printing to create a fun but also slightly haunted and dreamlike film, meant to invoke emotion in the audience. Bergeron enjoys mixing both his artistic and technical side and the handcrafting and 3D printing techniques employed in re-belief are a stunning example.
