Preparing F-16 fighter jet mesh
Hello,
I am looking to make a 3D print of the attached mesh - just something small and low/medium quality. I have limited experience with 3D printing. My goal would be to send this to a 3D printer service and they mail me the print. I tried with another model in the past but the service said it wasn't suitable for 3D printing, and I don't really know how to make it suitable (and they said they don't make it suitable for you).
So I guess question #1: Are there services out there that will take your mesh and make it 3D printable? I would really just like to pay $75 and get back a 3D printable version of this mesh that i can send to a shop.
Let's say $75 is too little for any shop to work on my mesh. Question #2: How would I go about preparing this mesh? I assume I would have to separately print these things then glue them together:
-missiles
-wings
-horizontal stabilizers
-fuselage
-vertical stabilizer
How much work am I looking at here? Like 8 hours? Another post mentioned meshmixer - I'll check that out.
Please explain to me how to...
