We have all read about the ways in which the U.S. Army have been researching uses of 3D printing for some pretty incredible applications. From 3D printed food for soldiers, to 3D printed human skin for implantation, there are certainly exciting times ahead.

The Army, however, is also looking into the use of 3D printing in the production of warheads. That's right, sometime in the near future missiles may have 3D printed warheads attached to them, which can hold larger payloads, and provide more accurate explosion dynamics.
