Results sa far: pc sticks well to pei at 90c with a small amount of 'smush'.
Any hotend temp over 260c and it struggles.
Fortunately that does seem sufficient to print pc.
I have reduced fan speed to 0%
Curious to see how that will effect stringing when I do a multi part test.
But at the moment it does look like I can print polycarbonate :-)
Okay I'll qualify that. I can make scrapers and pretty decent spudgers. And they are really strong and tough. Noticeably stronger than the pet-g.
But complicated prints are going to struggle.
Realistically you need to be able to reliable print at 270c and above.
And that is not happening with the stock hotend.
Bless her she tried - but anything over 260 just wasn't stable.
