    If the Body above the Half round was reduced or angled a little this might allow it the snap into place.
    Or
    If they did not come so close to the corners.

    This is the reason I used the fingers with round ends to give it flexibility.
    Though it was not one of my best ideals, it been working for 2 years now.

    I can shave off some of the material on top the indentation and may be also shrink them away from the corners. Thanks for the tips. I will post back with updates to close this thread. In the meantime if you have any other feedback on my design, please feel free to share. Thanks again Internet stranger for your kindness and help.

    I like the design.

    I would taper the top edge a little, then give a rounded area to allow a smooth transition into the half round area.
    Kind of a tapered S curve into the locked half round seat.

    Thanks. I appreciate it. I think I get the idea. Is this on the right track - I am looking for ways to smooth the surfaces next.
