So they must have actually sold enough flux's to make an actual profit.

That alone, from a 3d printing kickstarter point of view, says there's someone on their team who actually understands the economics of business - the biggest reason most kickstarters fail.

Not sure if it was ever properly implemented - but the only thing about the original flux kickstarter project that really interested me, was that it also included a built in 3d scanner.

But I have no clue if that was ever included in the final product or if it ever worked well enough to actually use.

Whenever I look at a flux page on amazon - there's never any mention of the scanner.
