The UK government has announced that they will be making available £100 million to companies seeking to improve their manufacturing technologies. This includes, in large part, 3D printing and additive manufacturing techniques. The funding can be used for training of traditional manufacturing employees on the software and hardware needed for operating additive manufacturing machines.
