The US Army, NASA, and Alabama University have teamed up to work together researching the possibilities of additive manufacturing/3D printer. In a move which is certain to help all three groups of participants, the team will research ways which 3d printing can be used within the defense and space industries.

The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center is looking towards additive manufacturing particularly for missile design research.
