Post Processing ABS parts
I'm runner a Da vinci XYZ printer and looking into getting a smoother finish on my parts I've been vaporizing acetone. I've rigged a rice cooker power in line with a relay and am controlling the temperature based on slower pwm. The part is basically either melting or not making any difference, I've tried watering down the acetone to try to match the density of air (knowing the acetone is soluble in water) be not really gotten any results.
Does anyone have experience with post processing parts or know some documents that talk about it?
Thanks!

The smaller your Z layer thickness, the smoother the finish will be.
