Mamba3D - open source 3D-printer now on Kickstarter
Yet another 3D Printer has launched a campaign on Kickstarter today. It's the Mamba3D Printer, which is an open source printer that is priced starting at 625Euros ($864). The printer is made completely of metal, and has a nice 200x200x200mm build area.
It uses 1.75 mm filament, has a .4mm nozzel and prints in a resolution up to 50 microns. It also uses an all metal hot-end.
The prints that they have as examples look really good too.
The Mamba3D printer is a complete kit consisting of:
- Aluminum frame and plates
- Electronics with preloaded firmware
- Motors, wires etc. [no soldering needed]
- Mamba3D extruder drive
- Hot-end
- All other hardware needed to build your own printer
- Detailed build manual
- Samplepack of premium Colorfabb PLA to get you started
Have any of you backed it?

I backed this neat project! Just a few more backers needed in the next few hours, I'm sure we can make this work. It looks to be a pretty cool printer.
