Italian maker and Porsche enthusiast Giuseppe Guerini has taken his love of the cars and his hobby to a new level in 3D printing a 1:4 model of a 1952 Porsche 356 engine. He used a David Laser scanner, and then Rhino and Meshmixer for modeling. After experimenting with FDM 3D printing, he realized an SLA printer would be much better for this job and settled on the Formlabs Form 2. 3D printing took 45 hours overall.
