Vanessa Campanacho earned her PhD from the University of Sheffield and is currently a researcher at CIAS - Research Centre for Anthropology and Health and CEF–Centre for Functional Ecology - Group of Paleoecology and Forensic Sciences, University of Coimbra. She is a biological anthropologist who studies different ways to age bones. Vanessa uses 3D scanning in her work frequently, to include the Eva and Spider Artec 3D scanners.
