Susie Robinson was 20 years old when the car she was driving went off the road and crashed into a tree one evening in 1989. The accident shattered her jawbone and required more than a dozen surgeries over the years, and when Robinson's most recent implant cracked, she didn't want to go through all the pain and recovery time again. Fortunately, she met Dr. George Dimitroulis, who in 2015 implanted the first 3D printed titanium jaw in Australia. With his invention, called the Osseoframe, Robinson's jaw could be repaired in an hour with almost no recovery time. Read more at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/169558/3d-printed...m-jaw-implant/
