Guys

as you will know by now through emails, we're very keen to talk further with you guys about purchasing an E5 System for a new venture in the UK.

I'm a network and senior systems engineer for a US company that supports checkin facilities at Airports as one of it's many portfolio items! I specialise in Check in Kiosks specifically!
My buddy Nick is a mechanical engineer and runs his own business, Wright Engineering. Nick is a seriously clever cookie!! and can make pretty much anything out of metal in his workshop.
Most specifically he focuses on Prototype parts and rebuild of engine components etc for vintage cars! He currently creates all of his parts in metal, including test and prototype elements.

We're hoping to change that for him! and at the same time start providing a service locally to us for specialist parts and one off's, but also have a library of "other" items we can create and sell on the side.

Despite our lack of knowledge in the 3D printing department, we're VERY keen on the E5 system and it's capabilities! Nick has fairly extensive knowledge through his work on two major pieces of kit in his workshop, CNC milling machines, and I'm hoping my technical computer background along with groeing knowledge of Solidwroks etc will be able to support the setup. We're not looking for a simple desktop unit, but rather something thats going to become a real benefit to the work Nick currently does and a wider market for new services and ideas. Another one of which is to broaden the market for custom built Quadcopters in the UK.

I especially like the test run with Sugru. Can I ask, was the finished product as expected? there are many applications we can see for being able to mould Sugru and allow to set for rubber parts needed for things.
We're very keen to understand further the full potential of the Hyrel setup and whether it's the right solution for us!

Cheers

Rob
