Pla not sticking to HBP! *Solved*
Alright so first of all I am VERY new to 3d printing. I was trying to print a phone stand on it's side and for some reason after it is finished printing the raft and starts on the stand itself, some parts of the raft starts bending/curling up as shown on the photo below and that messes up the entire print. That only happens after the raft is finished, since it sicks well while printing the raft.

Here are the settings that I have used to print this.

I have tried low temps and fast print as well as slow prints and high temps (as you see on the settings)
I do have the HBP at 115 C
I have red that people say it should be 40-50 C but the instructions in the Creator X said to set it to 115 but that might be the cause of the curls.
I have also leveled the bed as best as I could.
NOTE: This is not the first print. I have successfully printed a 20mm cube with these settings.Last edited by 6010fd12; 04-20-2014 at 02:34 PM.

UPDATE: I have changed the HBP from 115 C to 50 C when printing with PLA and it worked!

Not relevant to PLA but one thing I've found that often helps with ABS printing is to pre-heat the platform for a good 10 - 20 minutes once it reaches the right temperature, to make sure the outer edges are up to temp.
That's for my other printer at least, the Flashforge might be different and not need to.

Sorry I am late to this thread and of not much help. My son prints with his HBP at 45 all the time while I prefer to run mine at 60. This is on both Prusa Mendels and our Ultimaker 2. I have not had a print lift or curl since my old Cupcake days?

I run mine at 110-115-120 (120 for my red which i also have to extrude at 240) for ABS and 50-70 for PLA.
