Strange issue with fan control -
Basic info- Creator Pro, ABS, using right extruder only, fan control set to layer one, fan off. Now, the strange thing - the right fan is off, but the left fan is running. Should this be? Also, should I decide to use both extruders, will both fans stop running? Thanks in advance!

Ok, do you mean the front side by side fans? If so then they run as needed to cool the actual extruders. The fan on the left "side" position is the filament cooling fan and should be the one controlled by the slicer fan settings.

Sorry about not being clear! I am referring to the individual fans on the extruder heat sinks, not the single fan to the left of the assembly.

Those are controlled by the printer and generally turn on at 50c so it is not unusual for the one on the unused extruder to turn on and off at times.. If you are heating an extruder and the fan never turns on then there is an issue of a bad fan, connection etc probably.
