it's not that hard, but with pla you do either need to add some abs to the acetone carbon slurry - or buy the expensive coating 'paint'.

Kicked my brain into gear, might have ago coating with aluminium. It's a shiny silver metal that doesn't tarnish easily. Plus I can get as much scrap as I like :-)

copper jewellery will go green.

Now to track down the neutral coating solutiion recipe.
