New Canadian startup SlidX is getting ready to offer drones as a true reality in medical assistance. Their KAYRYS, a vertical take-off and landing aircraft (VTOL) drone, consists of 60% 3D printed parts and can act as the first responder in a car accident, fire, or search and rescue scenario. The KAYRS flies in and not only delivers medical supplies but begins collecting data and opening the lines of communication. This drone was 3D printed in less than 20 days using four different 3D printers operated by SlidX partner, Lézar3d. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/148139/3d-printed-kayrys-drone/
