Bangkok’s ProgressTH is a makerspace that works in numerous sectors to help communities progress via innovation and technology. They’ve been involved in a continually expanding project collaborating with the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health. Working with nurses on 3D printing projects, ProgressTH has been behind both helping with the fabrication process as well as encouraging these medical professionals to become medical makers. Using 3D printing, they have created new products like a bubble-level used to calibrate bed height in the ICU, as well as a blood-clotting device. Recently ProgressTH hosted a three-hour workshop for medical professionals at QSNICH. Afterward, the nurses gave a presentation on their latest inventions. Days after, they also hosted another presentation for other nurses from Chiang Mai, a Thai city to the north. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/143675/3dp-workshops-queen-sirikit/
