After recently hosting a contest to design a 3D printable replica of the B.F.G. gun from the Bethesda game 'DOOM', the 3D printing marketplace MyMiniFactory has constructed a life-sized 3D printed replica of the gun. After the B.F.G model was designed by MyMiniFactory's designer Kirby Downey, the gun was printed in 70 individual parts, which took over 1000 total hours to print to completion. These parts were then assembled and sent to post-processing, where it was glued together and painted according to its appearance in the popular video game.
