Create Prosthetics is a very different type of practice offering help to those who need orthotics and prosthetics due to amputations. They demonstrated this recently with a trip to Haiti to give Danis Exulise, a 20-year-old young mother, her 3D printed prosthetic hand and arm—a first for her, of course, but also the first of its kind as it is medical grade and FDA approved. The prosthetic is lighter by 50% than the traditional, and will allow her much better gripping capabilities. These arms are now being sold in kits around North America.
