David Gewirtz of DIY-IT recently decided to see if he could make use of the Logitech BCC950 Conference Cam he’d stowed away in a closet months ago as it lacked the mount he needed for convenience in his video work. Without a screw mount on the bottom, it just wasn’t much use to him so he created a recent project around it, endeavoring to make a complex spider-like mount to attach to it. In the end, he discovered that he could just purchase a very cheap ‘stick-on’accessory mount for $7 that was quick and easy, and while 3D printing would have been fun and allowed for a great video itself in showing how he refurbished the cam, sometimes it’s not worth it to 3D print just for the sake of it.
