In March, Primo Toys ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund its Cubetto Playset -- a natural wood and electronic robot that teaches children a programming language without them having to know how to read (ages 4-7). When Primo set out to produce its first 650 runs of the playset, it ran into snags and asked the Materialise team to help. Not only did the team help, Materialise's Design and Engineering team helped reconstruct the toy -- saving Primo Toys 20% in assembly time and 25% in overall cost of production. Now, it will be easier for Primo Toys to meet its shipping date of October 2016 to its 651 Kickstarter backers. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/135434/materialise-cubetto-playset/
