One thing I'm wondering is how I'm going to remove the QIDI blue tape thing to install the Printbite.

    Nice, thank you.
That guy has a whole bunch of QIDI upgrade parts you can make on ThingiVerse. I made several of them so far. He didn't have tipping enabled though. He should he is really helpful.

Cncartist is indeed most helpful. I have printed / adapted a great many of his designs for use with my QiDi. Of them all, my favorite is the hanging parts bin. They take a while to print, but I use them every single day. (I liked them so much I made two.)

about 10C - I set mine at 70c and get 60c at the bed surface though bear in mind I have a 3mm aluminium plate as well as the printbite attached to me original bed.

I haven't had any issues with anything sticking when running it at 60c (surface temp)

Don't bother removing the tape, just stick the printbite on top :-)

PrintBite order got refunded. It turned out they were out of the size for the QIDI printer as well. Bummer.

Just get a bigger bit and 'cut' it to size.
The logical one is the 30x30 - which gives you two beds for a few quid more than the cost of one.

I will check back in a few mins then. The rep from there said they were out of most of them and for some reason several showed up as in stock. I was thinking going larger like you suggest to get an extra. I will ping them first and ask.
I almost pulled the trigger on the Borosilicate glass last night but I dont want the size that is a bit too small or the size that is just over-sized so I am trying to source one that is the correct size for the QIDI printer.
