Banking magnate Barclays is getting in on the 3D printing action—and more so, they are allowing their customers to get involved as they open a number of MakerSpaces around the UK which will be filled with 3D printers, laser cutters, tools, and will have help available as well for users who need it. Barclays will be offering two types of MakerSpaces, the Eagle Labs and Incubators. Eagle Labs are more conventional spaces and meant to propel forward Barclays’ mission to spur digital technology education. The Incubators are meant to encourage startups, allowing space for networking, meeting, and brainstorming as new businesses take form.
