Modeling Abstract Mathematical Shapes In 3dsmax and Blender

Hi, everyone. I'd like to share with you my Youtube channel, featuring 3d modeling tutorials focused on the creation of complex mathematical models, which can be used in 3d printing, especially if you have access to SLS technology. Most of the tutorials employ standard polygonal modeling techniques, and no mathematical formula or 3rd party specialized software is necessary to create these amazingly unique shapes. The software covered in these tutorials is Autodesk 3dsmax, and Blender 3D, but the techniques can also translate to just about any capable polygon modeling package.

Here's an example of a popular video for 3dsmax:

    And here's one for Blender:

Have fun, and let me know if you need help with anything. I don't get heavily into scale with my Blender tutorials, but most of the 3dsmax videos do contain setting up the scene for real world scale, and modeling specifically to metric dimensions for printing. Enjoy.
