MarkForged is busy outdoing themselves already with a new release of their metal 3D printer. The Mark Two offers a range of new features from a 40% fiber printing process to better reliability for integrating components like sensors and batteries. Retailing at $5499, this is a desktop printer capable of producing industrial-quality components. It boasts two printheads, one for printing nylon, and one for reinforcing the parts with continuous fiber. A number of improvements are included to help improve the metal 3D printing process, and all Mark Two machines will be accompanied by the new Enterprise bundle, which allows for the 3D printing of fiber materials with a heat deflection temperature of 140°C.
