MeshMixer, Mesh Lab and the others

    Friends,

How do you learn these programs?

I am 52 and a retired submariner so I can maybe understand it if I were pointed in the right direction.

    Thanks

    Don

    Don,
I have the same problem at 45, it's going to take me 2 life times to learn all this 'stuff'. What I've done for the most part is take the time to watch any tutorials I can find, forums,web,pdf's/youtube etc. After a while you start to 'get it'. The programs you listed have a large on-line presence and a ton of informational help. From there, find forums for the interests you have and ask questions.

Specifically what are your interest in 3D printing? Sculptures, mechanical, etc...??
