MyMiniFactory lead designer Kirby Downey is a real 3D design and printing aficionado. One of his latest posts is an almost entirely 3D printed and mechanical Rubber Band Gun. Easy to assemble, with a big handle at the end, the gun propels rubber bands forward to its target by using string wrapped around the "barrel." As the string unravels, it shoots the rubber bands. Could this be the solution for a nation embattled by gun control issues? If we replaced bullets with rubber bands it could still do some damage, but this toy is nowhere near lethal!
