Once they’d cleaned up the mess, the team at Polar 3D was inspired and amused enough to mark the event with a "Be Smart!" promotion for users and educational organizations, offering $100 off to anyone who brings in a MakerBot extruder, taking the retail price of their 3D printer purchase down to $699.
