You may recall back last year when the Fuel3D scanner launched on Kickstarter. This was the start of what may end up becoming a rather large company. At the 3D Print Show in NYC this week, they intend to announce additional funding, over and above the $325k they got on Kickstarter last year:

The scanner is offered at a reasonable price compared to competitors and will turn 3D objects in the real world into 3D models on your PC.
