A company called EOD Life has created 3D Printed landmines that are used in EOD training. They basically work like real landmines without the explosion (for obvious reasons . When stepped on they send a signal to a loud speaker to notify the trainee that he/she has tripped the landmine. The company plans to sell them for $150 per 2 pack of these ($75 each). This is just one more use of 3D printing in military use. Read more about this at: http://3dprint.com/10939/3d-printed-landmines/
