Samsung, while remaining extremely noncommittal regarding the 3D printing market, has been granted a patent for a multi-colored 3D printing process developed by one of their teams, and using their own technology. If affordable and accessible, Samsung carve out a significant niche for themselves both in 3D printing and more specifically, 3D printing with color. Samsung has indeed made some really path breaking inventions in the past few decades like its arch nemesis Apple, it's really nice to see such inventions being available to common man as compared to those of Apple which are out of reach to most sections of people. Patenting such work is indeed required as it will help in preventing plagiarism and misuse, especially if we take help from any professional and experienced patent agencies which are capable of handling the such a difficult patent process.
