3D printing company Arty Lobster is tapping into the primal human need to memorialize a deceased pet in a special way. The UK-based company can offer you a life-like 3D printed sculpture of your own pet, so long as you can supply the design team with about ten good photos. Arty Lobster teamed up with Pets Magazine to launch National Pet Remembrance Day in the UK on July 5th: this event alone has been generating a steady stream of business for Arty Lobster. And plans to expand into new printing materials, and upscale models to replace traditional pet headstones, are also in the works.
