In a piece entitled Platoon Sound Sculpture, German designers Paul Bart and Marvin Bratke have created a 3D printed sculptural group that represents movement over time. The data for the movement collage was gathered at a performance in the Platoon Art Space of an interactive show including music. The movements of the attendees of that show were captured with Kinect sensors and then later fed into a CAD software to create digital models that compiled the movements into five figures. Those figures were then 3D printed and installed as an exhibit in their own right. Check out more about the design project at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/90534/platoon-sound-sculpture/
