UK-based father-son team David and Chris Guest have been working together since 2006, designing and manufacturing GPS tracking devices. They are now running a Kickstarter campaign through September 15th seeking to raise £50,000 to kick off production of their LightBug device. The LightBug, a tiny GPS tag operating in conjunction with an app, can track keys, patients, pets, kids, and even distance for fitness training--and it's solar powered, never needing a battery recharge. Cases for the LightBug have been 3D printed in the prototyping stage, easing the creation process of the device.
