I've also annealed a number of parts (bake at 225F for 5-10 minutes) as recommended, not sure how effective it is or if this process could be used on other PLAs, but the results are impressive in terms of strength and appearance.
Good feedback. I looked for something "specification like" on the MG website that described the material changes resulting from their recommended "annealing" process when used with the Raptor PLA. Nothing turned up other than the generalizations in their "tips" section. My oven does not hold temps very well near 100C, so I've just been boiling the parts in water. Figured that would be pretty close to 100C. They do not deform in that process.

Lol, I know what happened to this site? Was it that outage that killed it somewhat?

    I just wanted to share,
I am printing a BRAQ dragon from thingiverse and it has been awesome.
surface finish couldn't be better at .2 resolution.
is .2 better than ,1 or am I just guessing?
PLA 207 bed at 60 and this thing just makes flawless surfaces.
Some of the prints are 5 hours long and comments said trouble with some prints.
I'm using S3D and have had no issues

That is great. Post some pics.
The QIDI is a really nice printer that is for sure. I am enjoying mine. Glad to see others doing so as well.

Don't have pics but this project would look really good in copper color.
Thingiverse, Braq dragon, for the files.
I do think you need to up the top and bottom layers to about seven though.
This is to make sure you get a complete solid surface.

I just ordered another qidi printer. two is always better than one.
Have an order for parts that take 1 hr 20 minutes each to print.
Have two parts printing at a time so with two printers I can get 4 parts every 2 hrs 40 min.
Need 200 of these and I just heard there is going to be another 200 pcs to print.
Way to go Qidi, you have just paid for yourself many times over.

When I am done my customer is going to buy one printer from me so they can make replacement parts as needed.
That's a win/win, the replacement parts will be low volume.
