Punchtec Ord Bot Hardon Printer Extruder Temperature
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and also new to fixing my Ord Bot printer. Problem I am having is the extruder is not working. I think I have narrowed down the problem of why. I am melting ABS plastic at 230° C. Digital display sames it is 230° C. I have a Infrared temperature gun pointed at the heater block and it is no where near 230° C. More like 90° C. My guess is that the thermistor is bad or the heater is bad. Is it common for the thermistor to go bad? Do these things have to be calibrated? What needs to be replaced?
Thanks,

I honestly have never had an issue like yours, but I did find this cool little page that talks about RepRap thermistor stuff. I read quite a bit and it has some great information you might be interested in.

Anyway I found this link about calibrating Punchtec Ord Bot Hardon Printer. It has a temperature section(just ctrl and find the word temperature) and I thought this might help you with your problem. http://www.k4mg.com/CNC/Ord_Bot_Hadron_Build_Log.htm
Please explain to me how to...
