Thanks to 3D printing technology, surgeons at Boston Children's Hospital were able to make several complex pediatric surgeries go a lot smoother and faster after producing 3D models on a 3D resin printer. Operating on children from ages two months to sixteen with serious blood vessel malformations, not only were they able to rehearse ahead of time with the models but they were able to save twelve percent of time in surgery and able to use to 3D models as guides.
