3D artist and animator Matt Bagshaw and electrical engineer Chris Riddell were inspired by the 3D zoetropes of Studio Ghibli and Pixar to create their own 3D printable zoetrope using Bagshaw's St. George animated character. This prototype version is fully functional and uses 12 3D models and a record player turntable to make the figured move. The pair have plans to turn their prototype into a 3D printable kit that can allow users to easily create their own 3D zoetropes.
