Try to hold one side, I do the right side, still and then move the other side forward or backward as needed. It will resist but then when it goes you will hear the belt skipping teeth. Go a little at a time.
I then let it print a line close to the front edge to use a s a guide for parallel.

You mean grabbing the carriages where the bars slide into? Going to give it a go in a few. Thanks for your help.
