German 3D design giants netfabb are deeply involved in the creation of the new 3MF 3D Printing file standard and the 3MF Consortium. Alongside major players in the 3MF Consortium Microsoft, HP, Autodesk and Dassault Systèmes, the file format is meant to handle industrial 3D print data. The latest version of their flagship software, netfabb Professional 6, has already implemented the format.
