Patrick Saville, a work-at-home dad with a 3D printing studio--including three Ultimaker 2 3D printers and a Form 1+ SLA printer--sometimes takes the time away from clients' projects to work on his own hobby sides, inspired by household objects. Upon recently finding an old box full of model rocketry parts, Saville turned to his desk for inspiration to create a full rocket from them...and saw a Pringles can that would make the perfect tube (once he ate the chips!) for his rocket. Saville's final design used the Pringles tube, the rocket pieces he had on hand, and several 3D printed pieces he created via FDM process. The files are available online now at Thingiverse for download if you'd like your own 'Redneck Rocket' (as he calls it), and you can read more about the making process here: http://3dprint.com/75529/3d-printed-redneck-rocket/
