Mohammed Khorakiwala, the CEO and Founder of MaherSoft, says his company has spent the past two years working in “stealth mode” to build an industrial-grade 3D printer, the Indie. Khorakiwala says the Indie combines design, aesthetics, usability, repeatability, and value. One major consideration in the machine's design was a requirement to build a dual nozzle printer. This dual nozzle design was critical for its ability to print simultaneous support structures, and the Indie uses HIPS as support material and ABS as the main build material.
