Francesco Orrù Creates a Lovecraft Inspired 3D Printed Guitar

Francesco Orrù's detailed guitar, inspired by H. R. Giger, caught our attention last month with its intricate design--and he's at it again with another 3D printed guitar inspired by yet another master monster maker. This time, H. P. Lovecraft, in particular with his Godfish and Necronomicon characters, inspired the design, which this time Orrù created with improved, Seymour Duncan electronics. The files for the eight 3D printed parts of the guitar are now available for download at MyMiniFactory, and several non-3D printable parts are available from Amazon (e.g., strings, knobs, the bridge). Check out more details here: http://3dprint.com/76641/3d-printed-lovecraft-guitar/

    Nice! Should've been black though...

White is definitely wrong. I think it should be a color that looks like a "soapy, greenish-black stone . . . resembl[ing] nothing familiar to geology or mineralogy" (Lovecraft, "Call of Cthulhu").
