colorFabb decided to use a 3D printed racing bike, printed from the desktop, to demonstrate the superior strength of their new XT-CF20 carbon filament, boasting an extremely high stiffness/elongation ratio. 3D printed on an Ultimaker Original Plus with a 0.8 nozzle, the team states that it could also be produced on many other printers. The 3D printed bike was designed by an intern, and was tested and analyzed as well as earning some street cred while they put some real-life miles on it.
