New 3D Printer Add-on Allows for EDM Metal Machining

One man has created a new add-on that can be used on any desktop 3D printer turning that printer into an Electrical Discharge Machine, allowing makers to machine metal. EDM uses electrical currents which create sparks which gradually remove material from a metal object. This allows for intricate detail on metal objects. Hi
Very good idea to make the manufacture of precision metallic parts accessible.
As there a website to see more pictures and info?

    AKA spark erosion.

Smelly, dirty affair. And the electrodes still need to be made. Not necessarily cheap. Very slow process too (the actual sparking).

On the other hand I love seeing how people use a basic 3D printer and convert it into all manner of machines.
