The folks checking out the displays and demonstrations at AWE 2015 are in for a treat today as Occipital unveils a fun and innovative new AR/VR headset called NEODiVR, which is a very exciting but simple system that users can put together themselves with the Structure Sensor, 3D printed NEODiMOUNT case and matching NEODiVR conversion plate, headset, and the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. The user is able to navigate through a VR space, while the depth sensor allows them to crouch in real life and then carry that through into the headset. The system can also be used for other tasks like mapping spaces, playing AR/VR games, as well as scanning objects. More details here:
