Meet fourteen year old, Myrijam Stoetzer, and Paul Foltin, who's fifteen years old. They are finalists in Europe's largest youth science competition for their ingenious eye movement controlled wheelchair that has 3D printed parts. It also uses the new Raspberry Pi 2B to processes the video stream that obtains the pupil's position and compares it with adjustable preset values representing forward, reverse, left and right. Motors for the project were retrieved from the window washers at a car junkyard. They seem to have thought of everything. We are looking forward to seeing how they do in the "Jugend forscht" competition, and any future projects.
