Carbon3D was founded in 2013 in Chapel Hill, NC, and the company say they work “at the intersection of hardware, software and molecular science.” The company says their goal is to make it possible for commercial customers to use 3D printing for manufacturing, and the announcement of the company's Continuous Liquid Interface Production technology captured a cover story on Science Magazine. Carbon3D has now signed the former CEO of Ford Motor Company, Alan Mulally, to their board of directors. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/69936/ford-ceo-mulally-carbon3d/

What are your thoughts on this move. Quite a big name for a startup to tap for their board don't you think? What will be Mulally's ultimate role with the company? Any guesses?
